We found Rhys to be very enthusiastic about the contract to provide a sensory garden upgrade to a Nursing Home. Construction works entailed new pathways and watering systems, relocation and upgrade of seats as well as significant planting.

The job required a strict timetable and adherence to several additional standards of work required to ensure safety of all residents and staff within the facility. Rhys and his team conducted the work efficiently, with the workplace was always clean and completed the job well within the two week timetable, without any incidents nor complaints. We found them always pleasant, courteous and responsive to deal with.

This is a note of thanks and gratitude from Wayne and me for the recent project done at our home. Anthony and Paul did an amazing job once again on demolishing the balcony including the ceiling, roof, guttering and downpipe. The new materials including the decking looks great. They then moved onto digging up and knocking out the brickwork in our small front courtyard and levelling it for laying of concrete base. Their base work and attention to detail was imperative to us achieving the look we have now. Thanks also to Martin who rendered the wall giving it a completely new look finished off by Dallan’s team whose intricate paintwork in some areas really makes our home quite the showpiece. We are to say the least thrilled with the finished product which was made possible by your hard working and dedicated teams.

I recently engaged Rhys and the team from Just Clip It to design and complete a small landscaping project for the courtyard of my property in Rozelle.

It was obvious from the outset that Rhys possessed fantastic knowledge of contemporary landscape design; his advice focused upon both aesthetic, as well as financial considerations. With just a few modifications, Rhys’ first design was the one that we ran with and it fair to say that I am very pleased with the end result. We engaged Just Screw It to renovate the kitchen of our investment property and a few other repair items. We really liked the professional way Chad prepared the estimate and how the items are itemised so that you can easily identify whether it is worth doing something or not and how to reduce costs. The estimation process was quick, easy and accurate compared to the other quotes we tried to get.

The guys started the job promptly and we were very happy with the end result. The tradesmen and supervisor were on time and kept us informed at all times. The quality of the work was good. The final cost was close to what was estimated and I liked the flexibility in being able to save on some areas which helped as during the renovation we identified further areas that needed work.

Overall we were very satisfied with JSI, so much so that we got Chad and his team straight on to some renovations at our own home.

Although I only had lots of smallish jobs to do, I found them very courteous, and very efficient. Despite the name, and the ageing fleet of vans and trucks they use, they are extremely professional. I have since found out a friend of mine had used this company in the past for some pretty major works and was also impressed by their service.

Hi Chad and the crew, I am simply writing to inform you of how pleased I am with the workmanship, the professionalism and the mannerism of all your employees involved in the work at my address. From word go, Craig gave me a full briefing on what would be involved in the work and with this I gained complete confidence that I would be leaving things in goods hands. Considering my carport forms a part of the strata, whom I might say are quite hard to deal with. I might also say that Craig’s regular presence during the works was very reassuring.

This peace of mind helped me decide which of three quotes I’d be going with. Also your two workers, Josh and the welder (whose name slips my mind at the moment), were very particular and thorough, leaving no stone unturned before commencing their work. They both appeared very polite and professional.

After the work was completed I was advised that a neighbour had stuck his head over the fence annoyed with the accessive noise from the power tools. I was also advised that Josh handled the situation very professionally, offered his empathy at the time and the issue was resolved peacefully. Also, without forgetting those cheerful individuals who answer your phones, what is customer service without those cheerful and pleasant personalities?

Why have we continued using Just Screw It since purchasing our home 2 years ago… they live by their motto ‘done right, on time’. Renovating is disruptive, invasive & messy… having someone in your home that is clean, tidy & courteous while invading your space makes it a whole lot easier!

Just Screw It carried out extensions to our home over 6 months from March 08 to August 08. This essentially involved opening up the rear of the house to the backyard.

In detail the work involved the following:

• Reconstruction of the rear sunroom, including new sliding doors and louvre windows, plasterboard, painting and new timber flooring;
• Fitting out the existing laundry including new plumbing, tiling, plasterboard and painting;
• Removal of the existing living room wall, fireplace and matching existing floorboards where the fireplace once stood;
• Construction of a large timber deck and pergola and low retaining walls;
• Construction of a new carport and concrete driveway.

We found Chad to be responsive and his team professional, particularly his project manager / builder Terry who was assigned to our project from commencement to completion. Terry and his team had a genuine focus on quality workmanship and timely delivery, working weekends when required in order to coordinate with other trades. He is a straight talking builder and we appreciated his open discussions on progress, design changes and cost that are part and parcel of any domestic building project.The final construction cost was at the higher end of the range Chad indicated, however design changes did occur along the way and additional work was carried out that was not in the original scope.

We would recommend Just Screw It highly and wish them all the success in the future.

By way of background, we hired Just Screw It originally for a small job – replacement of a ceiling with cornice. The the team were efficient and the finish excellent that we arranged for them to complete the remainder of the renovations on our rental property. The final outcome of this property was of high standard and we were able to optimise the rent on the property.

With our situation changing, we relocated to Singapore and required our residence to be put into a rentable state. Chad managed the renovation for us, as we had already relocated to Singapore, and sent through photos to keep us aware of the stages completed. He provided honest opinion and at times talked us out of certain changes as he believed it unnecessary. He was also flexible to our needs as further issues arose that needed fixing, which he attended to without complaint or issue.

I have found Chad and his team to be honest, with a high detail to workmanship and efficient. I would highly recommend him over other builders. For note, I requested my brother to do a final inspection of our property and, given he has just completed a major renovation to his property in Birchgrove, was impressed and disappointed that I did not make him aware of Chad and his company.
